Stay Confident About God’s Good Plan

Divine direction is primarily about what God wants to accomplish with man; it is about the goal to be realised and not necessarily about the pathway to the goal.

Whenever someone has received direction from God, there is a surge of confidence, excitement, and zest. Everyone needs this to go and to take the blessing or the trophy of the promise that God has given.

Weariness and frustration only set in after you have hit the road and found things that are not described in the plan – the myriads of experiences and situations on the way.

God, however, wants your attitude all the way to be as it was in the beginning when you responded with excitement to His word to you.

The attitude that will inherit the promise is that which sees only the promise and is not reconditioned by the anything foreign to the promise –

Hebrews 10:35-39

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

“For yet a little while,

And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.

Now the just shall live by faith;

But if anyone draws back,

My soul has no pleasure in him.”

But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

Isaiah 14:27

For the Lord of hosts has purposed,

And who will annul it?

His hand is stretched out,

And who will turn it back?”
