Don’t Be Unsettled by Conspiracy Theories.

The manifestation of the expected head of one world government is under lockdown actually since the first century. His manifestation will not happen untill the Restrainer has been taken away.

The theory about a particular person being the agent that God is using to delay the one world government is so speculative.

The word of God is that you shouldn’t be unsettled by the conspiracy theories. You should rather focus on being ready for the gathering of God’s people to their Lord who is coming for them.

At a time the theory was “do not collect bank card”.

Along the line, it was “do not join the Facebook as it is being used to gather data for the antichrist..”

Then in a rather quiet manner, it was “this BVN is what the prophecy was about as you would not be able to transact without it in the nearest future”, more so that it compulsory for everyone.

The list and the theories continue.

When universal is (symbolised by 666 in the Bible) arrives, it will not be an advice, not shall it be a suggestion. The government that will give it will be in place and not in theories.

Rather than being unsettled by the theories, expect the Lord’s coming, like a thief in the night.

The Doors of the Church Can Never Be Shut

The door of the church can never be shut. The church is not the building, it is the people.

They met where they had access to in the first century without erecting any building.

The gap between the practice (tradition) of the church and the teaching if the church (scriptures) must be bridged.

While we thank God for the building, we must also recognise that as the day approaches the church (the people) should be helped to separate the essentials from the non-essentials.

If the buildings are shut down even with the backing of the law, the church will only get more powerful.

The virility and the visibility of the church is not in the buildings, it is in its spiritual impact. It is not in the transformation of landscape, it is in the transformation of lives.

Reading Richard Wurmbrand books (https://amzn.to/2V0qUM9) in the 80’s made me to know that there is a reality beyond the comfort we fight for; and that without formal buildings the church can thrive. The exploits that happened even behind the iron curtain made me to know that the gates of hell can never prevail against the church.

If all you have been exposed to is the stained glass windows and the luxury of meeting place; if that is what we think makes for worship; if we consider that comfort is what Christianity is all about, we are very well deceived. Tradition is rather controlling.

Read about the church in China and you will be truly educated. More people have come to the Lord after the public meeting came under the control of the state and the real church went underground.

The luxury and the gratifying teachings we have established as standards were not in consideration even in the early church. Comfort has made sermon subjects that should be unpopular with the church rather popular.

If we think straight, we have lots if questions to ask. It is excesses or tradition that normalised the thinking that it is a ministry when it hasn’t built a structure and a church when a structure has been erected.

True standard is seemingly veiled.

Paul trained some people in the school (Hall) of Tyrannus and they turned the subcontinent upside down. Most of the churches were in the homes and within the community. The church was more organic and less institutionalised.

It needs not be in Jerusalem nor in a special building. God is Spirit and His worship happens in spirit and in truth.

Let’s get real. The doors of the church can never be shut.

The Christmas Handshake

The divine handshake across eternity, time , and space which came 2000 years ago was intended for a huge embrace. The handshake is still extended today.

Jesus did not come just to responsibly bear the rule for our good and welfare; He came to also relate with us as the One with whom we’ll continue to be amazed; the One who would be our friendly guide and personal counsellor: the loving Father whose love would never ever let go as much as we continue to run to Him; the Prince who is peace-loving and peace-giving amidst the turbulence of this world; and the One whose responsibility for us and the peace He gives will know no bound.

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 2 Cor 5:18-20

As we commemorate this Christmas season, let us appreciate this Divine handshake and respond to Him with a huge embrace, an embrace in faith; let us allow His gift to shine light and bring further beauty into our souls; let’s make it known to others that He came for all.

May the meaning of His coming be real in your life and to your loved ones through this season and into the coming year.

Merry Christmas and a blessed 2019 to you and yours.

With love,

Tolu & Seyi Boluwatise.

The kingdom of God is not of this Age

The kingdom of God is not of this age.

It’s reality presently is only spiritual. No anointing can realise God’s paradisal plan in this current age.

Because we tone down on the primary business of soul winning to emphasise social reformation, the world looks away from the government it voted to blame its woes on the church.

It was not paradisal when Christ was here, neither was it in the age of the apostles. The attempt of the church to merge with the state then only brought corruption and power mongering into the church.

Our social reformation agenda can only be in the souls we are winning over to God’s side.

The end time prophecies stand. We can do nothing against the truth but for the truth. How can we have an agenda that will contradict the prophesies concerning the last days.

We can make efforts; the truth is that darkness will cover the earth and gross darkness the people. The light over the church is to salvage the souls on the pathway to hell, raise them to be followers of Christ.

How can there be a better nation when we are busy with alternative agenda. What did Christ ask the church to do? The only way to cure the nation is to raise more people to be the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. These are the ones that will live righteously with love for fellow man, having the best interest of others at heart.

Economic reformation agenda in the church is not evil. I am however looking for where the church was instructed for it. I want a society that works. The mission of the church however is not to accomplish a Dubai or Singapore. We even question being spirit-filled in such light. The more we face such, the more there are those who are defrauding others even in the church.

Any other approach will only tell people what they know. Self serving corrupt souls know that their culture will not build the nation. Their will is base under the dominion of sin, loving money more than God and more than the fellow man.

A better society is only in more Christlike souls.

They Might Not Be Called For What You Want of Them

There is no man that is sent to everyone. It is God who determines the calling of His servants, not the people. They did not get into the ministry because you voted them in.

The beginning of the crisis in Saul’s life was because he responded to the pressure mounted upon him by the people in the time of war.

He offered sacrifice, because the people were leaving him; whereas that was the prerogative of the priest. He finished with his costly mistake when the one called to offer sacrifice arrived. God judged him for that. The kingdom will not continue in his house again.

The problems in Nigeria today have caused people to define their role expectation of prominent Christian voices. Even those who should know better have joined the call to these personages to do what God might not have called them for.

If they respond to the popular call, they might end up disappointing Him who called him or worse still, loose their place if they don’t loose their lives.

Every ministry calling is an honour from God and each calling has it bounds. When a man listens to those who did not call him to do what they want, He may not be preparing to meet His maker, unto whom He will definitely render his account.

Christians ministers are not called into their role by the people. Some will never express political opinion because they respect their bounds.

You may be angry with Him, but you will not answer for him on that day.

It is not everyone that has business with what you want of them.

A Consideration of the Subject of Grace

We need to carefully look through the whole #scriptures before jumping to wrong conclusions.

Grace selected the #ten #virgins, same grace taught them what to do.
We did nothing to become partakers of His grace. Grace teaches us what to do after we have become partakers.

Right response made the first five wise; wrong response made the second five foolish.

The #teaching of grace to us is for us to deny all ungodly lusts and to prepare for He that will come without tarrying.

Wisdom responds by being prepared, taking enough from the abundant provision we have been furnished with.

Foolishness takes things for granted by being carefree and presumptuous, living on yesterday provision without knowing to respond with tender heart when His voice speaks to us today.

While we live in the age of his grace, we must walk wisely, for the time comes when there will be no room for remedy.

Then the wise will walk into the kingdom of their Lord and the foolish, left outside where there will be everlasting regret.

Let us not take His grace for granted nor use it as a license for promoting the wrong.

The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying all ungodliness worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously in the present age, Looking for the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you. Titus 2:11-15

For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men. Tit.3.3-8.

ARE YOU TRULY YOUNG? SERIOUSLY!

I feel for you when they call you a young man and you feel so.

They referred to a 42 year old man as a young man and the future in a circle where I was able to make observation. He grinned sheepishly and I feel for him.

If you don’t pick up your life on time, the same mouth will tell you that you are late.

In the progressive circle, productivity is emphasised over age.

Someone is older than you with two years and is calling you a young man.

I have had working with me those I was 20 years older than. I cannot imagine calling them young. When am I expecting them to grow up.

My heart cries when I see those clearly beyond 20 still thinking they are children.

They will continue to call you young till the grave catches up with you, if you are not careful.

Age is the significant achievement that some have made. Come to think of it, no one was calling them young when they were your age.

I will never berate the aged. Neither do I toy with mine.

My father got me in his early 40s. With his limited standard school education, he never emphasised “young”. He pushed for maturity. He is above 90 now. The culture hasn’t changed. He sits and discusses with me as if we are old pals.

In the Silicon Valley circle I bet no one talks about the age of the founder of Facebook.

BEWARE before you are helped to waste your age.

Why God Allows Poverty

A preacher and an atheistic barber were once walking through the city slums.
Said the barber to the preacher: “This is why I cannot believe in a God of love. If God was as kind and loving as you say, He would not permit all this poverty, disease, and squalor. He would not allow these poor bums to be addicted to dope and other character-destroying habits. No, I cannot believe in a God who permits these things.”
The minister was silent until they met a man who was especially unkept and filthy. His hair was hanging down his neck and he had a half-inch of stubble on his face.
Said the minister: “You can’t be a very good barber or you wouldn’t permit a man like that to continue living in this neighborhood without a haircut and a shave.”
Indignantly the barber answered: “Why blame me for that man’s condition? I can’t help it that he is like that. He has never come in my shop. I could fix him up and make him look like a gentleman!”
Giving the barber a penetrating look, the minister said: “Then don’t blame God for allowing the people to continue in their evil ways, when He is constantly inviting them to come and be saved.”
Truth be told, God can’t change you unless you step forward and ask God to help you change for the better.
