Welcome to December 2017, The Almighty is Crowning Your Year With Bounty

God’s grace is His kindness or goodwill that is directed towards His people. Its essence is for them to be blessed and empowered. The operation of grace happens in specific areas of our lives to empower us to live right by giving us victory over sin and the gravitational pulls of the flesh and of the world.

Grace works to empower us to work or to serve well and with power by being upon us in great measure for us to witness the ressurection of the Lord Jesus and to serve the will of God effectively in our generation; it also helps us to relate well with others as we depend on this power of the endless life that is at work within to live and relate with others without recourse to the influence of the present world which passes away.

The operation of grace is never without purpose. It is not to be treated as untrue as its operations have been apparent throughout the history of God’s dealings with humans. It is not to be received without result as recipients of grace are expected to work out what has been worked within them.

Grace in practical terms also relates with appropriate timings and seasons – 2 Cor 6:2. God is disposed to listen to you at the appropriate time, at the welcomed time that is not primarily and necessarily of man’s choosing. Our God who sees all things and can do all things often prevails on man’s preference by making things to happen in the lives of His people at the most appropriate time. The pleasure of the decision concerning timing is dependent on His prerogative and will always be in the best interest of His people, both corporately and individually.

The grace of God is also disposed to help you in the day of salvation. The day of salvation refers to the season when He rescues from particular dangers to restore to the state of safety and well being either because man has made himself vulnerable unnecessarily or because he is exposed to some particular onslaught of the enemy.

The call on you today is to pay attention to what God is working out in your favour. The favourable time is always in the now even if not for the entire aspects of your life; it is always in the now for those that the time is now appropriate for. The day of salvation, in like manner, is always in the present.

Pay attention now to see the Lord crown your year with His goodness – Ps 65:11; complete what He has started; and fulfil the very necesssary aspects of His promises in your life.

Welcome to December 2017, see the Almighty crowning your year with bounty.

Welcome to October 2017, Awake in God’s Likeness

Welcome to October 2017. This is the goodness of the Lord, marvellous in our sight, as being alive is an indication that God’s plan is still functional towards you. Faithful is He who has began the good work in you, He will finish it.

As you enter this new month, join me to make Ps 17:15 your focus and meditation.

Amidst all the imperfect situations on earth, the Lord wants your focus to be on Him. Looking away from these troubles is like dying to them and being awake to God.

When you focus on the situations, you define them as true to you; whereas, when you focus on God, Himself and His word becomes your reality.

The discipline of looking into God in dependence on the Holy Spirit, energises your transformation process of becoming more like Him, of getting deeper into His plan; and of having more victory in your life.

David said I have set the Lord always before me and because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Ps 16:9.

Enjoy peace, victory, and growth this month as you keep your mind on the Lord. He will bless you with grace and glory, and withhold not from you every good thing needed for your life.

As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness;

I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness. Psalms 17:15

Welcome to October 2017; awake in God’s likeness.

WELCOME TO SEPTEMBER 2017; OPERATE AS CHRIST’S AMBASSADOR

God’s operations continue on earth today either as the extensions of His works from the beginning when He created the heavens and the earth or as the extensions of what He worked in Christ on the cross when he finished the work of redemption and reconciliation by laying the foundation for the salvation of the whole world.

He is determined to restore not just the human race, but also also all things unto himself by removing every difference between Himself and His creation. So, what began in Christ, continues in the world today through us. 2 Cor. 5:18-19.

We are reconciled to Him. The differences are removed. He has therefore given us the ministry and the word of reconciliation. He has given you that pivotal role of His representative or ambassador in the world today. He wanted it to be that wherever you go and whatever you do, you have your eyes and mind on His redemptive initiative.

He wants you to consciously work at making Him the Center of all things by being disposed to reconciling more souls in the world to Him; and this is where your significance on earth lies. Whatever your platform is or whatever your role is in the marketplace, you are to commit yourself to the ministry of reconciliation by propagating the word of reconciliation.

God’s grace becomes effectual in the lives of those who are reconciled to Him from being enemies or strangers, foreigners or outsiders to being part of the community of His people. The ministry of reconciliation continues to bring more people to the same page with God and allows His grace to operate optimally in their lives and existence.

Let your mind change from its familiarity with ordinariness to the consciousness of the significance bestowed upon you as God’s ambassadors.

As you attend to this as His witness among the people, there is no limit to the prospects around you. He has invited you to come closer to have established with you the sure mercies of David by giving you as a witness to the people and a leader to them. Many lives shall be framed through you as you become more conscious of your role as Christ’s ambassador.

Hear what He says: “Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, and nations who do not know you shall run to you, because of the Lord your God, and the Holy One of Israel; for He has glorified you.” Isaiah 55:3-5

Welcome to the month of September. Live and operate consciously as an ambassador for Christ.

Welcome to July 2017, NOW IS THE TIME

Are your eyes set on the future, even on the things that should come to pass?
Are you tensed with anxiety, wondering when these shall happen?

The Lord IS always READY. His eyes are on the promises He made, and yes, to see them come to pass.”

This reminiscents of the experience of Jeremiah when the Lord spoke to him with a vision, the vision of an almond tree. He told Jeremiah, “I am watching over my word to fulfil it.” Jer 1:8

He is saying, I have not only made (IN YOUR PAST) a promise (FOR YOUR FUTURE), I am also (IN THE NOW) seeing to its fulfilment.

The Lord who lives outside of time shall hasten His word to performance in your life this July. He shall bring to pass the things He promised.

He says, “In an acceptable time I have heard You, And in the day of salvation I have helped You ….” Isa 49:8

Come with me NOW, says the Lord; See the promises I have given you; Look away from your troubles; Put anxiety far from you; Be ready for what I am able to do; and see my timeless word coming to pass in your life; for “… NOW is the accepted time; behold, NOW is the day of salvation.” 2Cor 6:2

May your faith embrace Him this month and see the readiness of God to do NOW what He promised you.

Welcome to July 2017, NOW IS THE TIME.

Welcome to June 2017

You have great promises gone out on you, and you are bothered that they haven’t materialised yet. I have a word for you this month, those words and promises shall not return to God, void of fulfillment, unless you have ceased from embracing them, even if they are still afar off.

Let not your head be bowed, neither allow your heart to be dismayed because you are not there yet.

I pray for you, that this month there shall be adequate and special shinning of the lamp for your feet and the light for your path; there shall be special guidance in respect of the steps you need to take and clearer direction towards the future.

I pray for you that you shall be kept on course and that your transitions shall be facilitated towards your prescribed destination.

The Lord will deliver you from self-interest and from being overtaken by temporal interest; He will encourage your heart to be locked into Him in expectation against all odds.

Welcome to June 2017, your steps shall be profitably guided and your transitions, leading to your true destination in Jesus name.

Welcome to May 2017

God knows that without Him, you can do nothing (Jn 15:5). He has made provision of mercy and grace to help you every time there is need (Heb. 4:16).

Whatever His will is, it is best thing that can happen to you. The will of God doesn’t always seem like it is good enough to many. So, they complain, murmur or outrightly depart from what they know as God’s thought.

I have a very good news for you. God’s will will not lead you to where His grace cannot carry you. That difficulty will soon melt in the presence of God’s grace.

If it looks like the trouble is persisting and mercy is delayed. Don’t be moved by the troubles; wait for the operation of His grace. It will definitely speak for you.

I have this spurring in my spirit to encourage this month.

EXPECT GREAT THINGS, AS GOD’S MERCY IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE OVER YOUR LIFE.

Welcome to May 2017, it shall be a great month for you.

Yours in His service,

Isaac Boluwatise

Happy Easter Sunday to You. He Lives

He went to the cross, looking forward to His resurrection. His death would be worth it, for He will also rise for us. It was impossible for death to hold Him captive. Victoriously, He arose on the third day. As the King of Glory, he did, providing us with forgiveness and justification.

The New Testament emphasises that we were raised with Him, never to die again. His resurrection spelt for us eternal life. We are no longer under the elementary principles of this world. The religious ideals that are not according to Christ.

If we mistakenly embrace these, we will be robbing ourselves of our rewards in Him, if we don’t even loose the connection we have with Christ.

Nothing matters to our walk with Him, than our faith and obedience to Him. We should now be mindful of principles spiritual, which heaven operates by; principles which are affirmed in heaven and which truly confirm whom we are in Christ.

Let us use today to remember that He is risen and alive, and that we are alive with Him. We are dead to the world. We are hid with Christ in God. We are seated with Him at the right hand of God. Principalities and powers are shamed and triumphed over. All these because He lives.

Welcome to April 2017. Make The Very Most of Your Time.

“… although [His] works had been completed and prepared [and waiting for all who would believe] from the foundation of the world.” Heb. 4:3

God’s works concerning you are already completed. Surprising! Isn’t it?

The works of God only await the maturing of your faith (response), for them to fully manifest in your life.

Many wait for the work of God, whereas the works of God await their mature response.

God’s works will not be done in your life; they are already done. Faith sees it that way.  Even if the manifestation is pending, your works of faith must be on, even now.

What are you doing in respect of that expectation that the word of God provoked in your heart? Faith doesn’t fold it’s hands. It is always at work, unless it is dead.

Don’t let the devil mess you up by telling you to continue to wait. There is something your hands must find to do now towards that full manifestation.

Make the very most of the time, buy up each opportunity, because the days are evil.  Eph 5:16.  If you continue to wait, doing nothing, you may be in for a rude shock.

If your response is positive towards God, there is the wisdom He will teach you now, on the way to where He is leading you. By the time you are there, you will be glad that you followed His direction.

What is needed for there is on today. Cooperate with God.

If you are in the city of Lagos, you can join us at the April Edition of the Higher Ground Rally. You will be glad you did.

Welcome to the month of April. Make the very most of your time.

Welcome to March 2017

Lift up your head and stop dwelling on the past as you proceed into this month.

The Lord will do a new thing in your life, not for your sake, but for His own glory. He has formed you for Himself, that your life may proclaim His praise.

Expect new things; look forward to seeing a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

The tables are turning in your favour; the story is changing.

People and situations which did harass you will give you up, for they will honour God in your life because of what He is set to do.

Happy new month to you and all yours; get ready for a new testimony.

We Are A Part of the Body of Christ

If we fail to remind our congregation regularly that we are a part of the larger body of Christ, than just our local church or denomination, we will end up with

  1. Christians who are raised to believe in their Pastor’s distinctiveness at the expense of other ministry gifts in the body of Christ. This is cultic followership.

No minister is anything in himself other than what he has been made to be to the body of Christ. Ministry gifts are to the body of a Christ; whatever each does is complementary to others. Paul plants, Apollos waters; increase comes from God.

  1. Christians who are raised to think that their church or denomination is better than every other, whereas no church is an island. This is denominational bigotry.

We are so interconnected that to think otherwise is dysfunctional. We fed from those before us and share with those around us. The body of a Christ is one. Jesus’ very important prayer is ‘that they might be one’.

  1. Christians who think that their teachings/doctrine is better than all others. This is Doctrinal pride.
No pride/boast is right, unless it is in Christ. We are called to grow in the unity of faith. That growth is together with others in the body.
