  • Happy Good FRIDAY. It Is Finished!

    April 14th, 2017

Today is referred to as the Good Friday. There truly is something good about it. It was on this day close to 2000 years ago that the King of Glory was crucified. If they had known, they will not have done that. Good that they did not know. His sacrificial death on our behalf finished it all.

Think about nothing else today. Let the word be on your mind and before your eyes; write it on a card, if you can. IT IS FINISHED! Read it. Think it. Say it. See it. IT IS FINISHED! The problem of sin and it’s attending functional effect is finished. He is not coming back for your challenges, infirmities, or weaknesses. He’s had them taken care of. Let this be in you, not just for today, but for the lifetime ahead of you. He settled the provision, once and for all.

Today is not a day to mourn. It is a day of rejoicing. Let your soul praise the king of heaven. Lay the tributes of your lips at His feet. You have been ransomed, healed, restored, and forgiven. His praise for these should be evermore.

Today we lay hold of the provision. We profess our faith in the finished work. We receive mercy and grace to help in time of need.

Rejoice! Share the good news with someone today. The cross was not just the place of His death; it was the place where He finished the solution and the provision that you will ever need.

From all of us at IsaacBoluwatise.Org,

    Happy Good Friday to you.

  • Welcome to April 2017. Make The Very Most of Your Time.

    April 1st, 2017

“… although [His] works had been completed and prepared [and waiting for all who would believe] from the foundation of the world.” Heb. 4:3

God’s works concerning you are already completed. Surprising! Isn’t it?

The works of God only await the maturing of your faith (response), for them to fully manifest in your life.

Many wait for the work of God, whereas the works of God await their mature response.

God’s works will not be done in your life; they are already done. Faith sees it that way.  Even if the manifestation is pending, your works of faith must be on, even now.

What are you doing in respect of that expectation that the word of God provoked in your heart? Faith doesn’t fold it’s hands. It is always at work, unless it is dead.

Don’t let the devil mess you up by telling you to continue to wait. There is something your hands must find to do now towards that full manifestation.

Make the very most of the time, buy up each opportunity, because the days are evil.  Eph 5:16.  If you continue to wait, doing nothing, you may be in for a rude shock.

If your response is positive towards God, there is the wisdom He will teach you now, on the way to where He is leading you. By the time you are there, you will be glad that you followed His direction.

What is needed for there is on today. Cooperate with God.

If you are in the city of Lagos, you can join us at the April Edition of the Higher Ground Rally. You will be glad you did.

Welcome to the month of April. Make the very most of your time.

    Sincerely,

    Isaac Boluwatise

  • Welcome to March 2017

    March 5th, 2017

Lift up your head and stop dwelling on the past as you proceed into this month.

The Lord will do a new thing in your life, not for your sake, but for His own glory. He has formed you for Himself, that your life may proclaim His praise.

Expect new things; look forward to seeing a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

The tables are turning in your favour; the story is changing.

People and situations which did harass you will give you up, for they will honour God in your life because of what He is set to do.

Happy new month to you and all yours; get ready for a new testimony.

  • We Are A Part of the Body of Christ

    February 27th, 2017

If we fail to remind our congregation regularly that we are a part of the larger body of Christ, than just our local church or denomination, we will end up with

    1. Christians who are raised to believe in their Pastor’s distinctiveness at the expense of other ministry gifts in the body of Christ. This is cultic followership.

No minister is anything in himself other than what he has been made to be to the body of Christ. Ministry gifts are to the body of a Christ; whatever each does is complementary to others. Paul plants, Apollos waters; increase comes from God.

    1. Christians who are raised to think that their church or denomination is better than every other, whereas no church is an island. This is denominational bigotry.

We are so interconnected that to think otherwise is dysfunctional. We fed from those before us and share with those around us. The body of a Christ is one. Jesus’ very important prayer is ‘that they might be one’.

    1. Christians who think that their teachings/doctrine is better than all others. This is Doctrinal pride.
No pride/boast is right, unless it is in Christ. We are called to grow in the unity of faith. That growth is together with others in the body.

  • They Might Not Be Called For What You Want of Them

    February 23rd, 2017

There is no man that is sent to everyone. It is God who determines the calling of His servants, not the people. They did not get into the ministry because you voted them in.

The beginning of the crisis in Saul’s life was because he responded to the pressure mounted upon him by the people in the time of war.

He offered sacrifice, because the people were leaving him; whereas that was the prerogative of the priest. He finished with his costly mistake when the one called to offer sacrifice arrived. God judged him for that. The kingdom will not continue in his house again.

The problems in Nigeria today have caused people to define their role expectation of prominent Christian voices. Even those who should know better have joined the call to these personages to do what God might not have called them for.

If they respond to the popular call, they might end up disappointing Him who called him or worse still, loose their place if they don’t loose their lives.

Every ministry calling is an honour from God and each calling has it bounds. When a man listens to those who did not call him to do what they want, He may not be preparing to meet His maker, unto whom He will definitely render his account.

Christians ministers are not called into their role by the people. Some will never express political opinion because they respect their bounds.

You may be angry with Him, but you will not answer for him on that day.

It is not everyone that has business with what you want of them.

    Selah!
